On 01. 08.2025 the time had come: Seven new trainees started their professional journey with us! Whether as industrial clerks, IT specialists, warehouse logistics specialists or tool mechanics - we look forward to accompanying you on this exciting journey. Our experienced colleagues are on hand to offer advice and support to the trainees and provide not only specialist knowledge, but also real insights into the world of the Schürholz Group at eye level. We wish all new trainees a successful start, lots of fun and exciting experiences during their training!

Today (01.08.24) marks the start of a new chapter in the lives of six trainees: They are starting their training at the Schürholz Group in Plettenberg . We look forward to supporting our new trainees on their journey and wish them a successful start to their careers and every success and enjoyment in their work at our company.

On July 4, Lüdenscheid's city center became a meeting place for exercise, team spirit and a good atmosphere: 6,805 participants set a sporting example for a good cause - and we were right in the middle of it! The Schürholz team was well represented with 23 colleagues - full of motivation, team spirit and, most importantly, lots of fun! A huge thank you to all employees who ran, cheered on or supported us. You are great and make events like this special!
Like every year, it was more than just a run for us - it was a real company fun event for a good cause. We are already looking forward to the AOK company run in 2026!

Cooling down is a must! Our employees give their all every day - even in these temperatures. Today we just wanted to say thank you and sent an ice cream van by to cool off! Loaded with a large selection of delicious flavors and refreshing classics, everyone was able to help themselves to their heart's content - a well-deserved break in the summer heat. Thanks to our great team - you make the difference every day!

We would like to congratulate our esteemed colleague Tarik Aydin on his 30th anniversary with the company! Mr. Aydin has been part of our company since 1995 - initially in the grinding shop and later for many years as a shift supervisor in assembly. After the relocation of assembly to another Schürholz Group site, he took on a new role as a machine and plant operator. In recent years, Mr. Aydin has also taken on a particularly responsible role: the supervision and implementation of 5S projects for the sustainable improvement of order and cleanliness in the company, and he is also fully committed as a safety officer and first aider - reliable, responsible and always approachable. We would like to thank Mr. Aydin for 30 years of dedicated service, loyalty and a sense of responsibility - and look forward to many more years together!

Only "recently" we were able to congratulate Mr. Stefan Rust on his 35th anniversary - and last week we celebrated his 40th anniversary together! Mr. Rust has been an integral part of our Schürholz team since May 20, 1985. He started out as an electrician in maintenance, then worked in toolmaking maintenance for a year before moving to the stamping and bending department in 1997, where he still contributes his extensive expertise as a machine and plant operator on a daily basis. What particularly distinguishes him is his reliability, his high level of commitment and his collegial, appreciated manner. Mr. Rust is not only an absolute professional, but also a valuable part of our team on a personal level. We would like to thank him for 40 years of dedication, experience and passion - and look forward to many more years together with Mr. Rust!

On Monday, we had a very special visit to our Plettenberg site! Around 60 curious children from Plettenberg's 4th grade indoor school visited us and gained an exciting insight behind the scenes of our industrial company. After a warm welcome in the conference room, the children were divided into four groups and went on a child-friendly tour of our company one after the other. Of course, we made sure that everything was presented in an exciting and understandable way. Our Managing Director, Mr. Angelo Castrignano, clearly explained to the children how our parts are produced and where they are later used in the car. The children were totally interested and asked lots of questions! As a farewell gift, the children went back to school with lots of impressions and smiles on their faces. It was a great pleasure to welcome the children to our school! Who knows, maybe we'll see one or two of them as apprentices at our company in a few years' time.

A quarter of a century in our team - thank you! Mr. Heikel Bahri has been with us for 25 years - he started working as a toolmaker in April 2000. To this day, he contributes his specialist knowledge to toolmaking on a daily basis and impresses with his reliable, committed manner. He is not only an expert in his field, but also a highly valued colleague on a personal level. As a trainer for technical professions, he is always available to our trainees with help and advice - patiently, helpfully and with a lot of passion. We would like to thank him for his many years of service and look forward to many more years together with Mr. Bahri.

Our fifth joint blood donation event with the DRK Blood Donor Service West took place on May 6, 2025 - and this time, too, there was a large turnout: 30 employees from Elaflex Hiby, Gris and Schürholz Group donated life-saving blood. Hospitals rely on blood reserves every day - whether after serious accidents, during operations or for patients with chronic diseases such as leukemia. A single blood donor can save up to three lives! Unfortunately, however, blood reserves are often insufficient to meet the demand. This makes it all the more important that people like our 30 employees are always willing to donate their blood and thus become lifesavers. We would like to thank all donors for their great commitment and the DRK team for the smooth operation! Taking responsibility together - saving lives together.

Easter is in the air - and the Easter Bunny has already visited the Schürholz Group in Plettenberg! Last Friday, we had a very special guest in the company: the Easter Bunny himself! As the Easter vacations start today, April 14, 2025, in NRW, he left sweet Easter greetings and small gifts for our Schürholz team in advance. The joy was great - our Easter bunny brought a smile to the faces of many colleagues. We wish everyone happy and relaxing Easter holidays - whether in the office, at home or already on vacation!
