News from the world of Schürholz

After 37 years of impressive work, we bid farewell to our esteemed colleague, Mr. Herbert Rez, on his well-deserved retirement. We were already able to congratulate him on his 35th anniversary in August 2023 - and now the time had finally come last Thursday: we said goodbye to Mr. Rez after a successful and long career in our company. He has been an indispensable part of our toolmaking team since 1988. Through his tireless commitment and extensive expertise, he has made a significant contribution to the success of our company. We would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his outstanding achievements and commitment. We wish Mr. Rez all the best, much joy and, above all, good health for the next stage of his life!

After many years of hard work and dedication, we say goodbye to our dear colleague, Mr. Leszek Gozdek, who is now taking his well-deserved retirement. He has been an important part of our team as a production employee since 2019 and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his kindness, positive attitude and tireless commitment. At the same time, we are delighted for Mr. Gozdek that he can now enjoy the well-deserved rest phase of his life. We wish him all the best, health and happiness in this new phase of his life. Thank you once again for all your hard work! We wish Mr. Gozdek a wonderful time in retirement!

On Saturday, we celebrated our Christmas party at the Schürholz Group. We laughed a lot, ate delicious food and danced a lot. A huge thank you to everyone for the great atmosphere! We would especially like to thank our employees for their tireless commitment and excellent work! A big thank you also goes to our works council, who organized the party perfectly. We are already looking forward to 2025 and hope to be able to celebrate together again then!

Ho Ho Ho! St. Nicholas also stopped by and left our employees a small but delicious surprise!

For the first Advent, our employees receive an Advent calendar from the Lions Club - a small gift that also supports a good cause. This year, we have once again presented each employee with a calendar, the proceeds of which will be used to support social projects in the region. The calendar offers numerous attractive prizes from local retailers and restaurateurs - from valuable vouchers to fantastic grand prizes. In previous years, the winners have enjoyed dream trips or even a new car. We wish everyone a peaceful Advent season and lots of fun with their calendar!

We would like to congratulate our employee Stanisław Podulka on his 10th anniversary at Schürholz Group Poland. Mr. Podulka has been a valuable member of our team in Środa Śląska since September 2014. We would like to thank him sincerely for his dedicated and trusting work over the past few years and wish him continued success and all the best for the future!

Two long-serving employees of the Schürholz Group were honored on 01.08.24 for their outstanding commitment, extensive experience and loyalty. Management, colleagues and the works council came together to thank Sabine Herrmann and Peter Hoffmann for 70 years of commitment. Both jubilarians had already completed their training at Schürholz. Sabine Herrmann has been a member of the Schürholz Group team in Plettenberg as a buyer for 25 years. Mr. Peter Hoffmann has been an important part of the Schürholz Group since 1979 and has managed the toolmaking department in Plettenberg for almost 30 years with his extensive experience. We would like to thank Mrs. Herrmann and Mr. Hoffmann for a total of 70 years of commitment to the Schürholz Group!

On 28.06.2024, we once again took part in the AOK company run, a popular running event organized by the AOK health insurance company. Over 7000 participants took part in the company run in Lüdenscheid, which was an absolute record. A total of 371 companies took part in the run in the city center of Lüdenscheid. It was a fantastic day full of sporting challenges and shared successes for everyone involved. In the beautiful weather, the colleagues #teamschuerholz mastered a distance of 6 km.

We would like to congratulate our employee Adriana Holowczak on 10 years with the company and thank her for the good, trusting cooperation. Ms. Holowczak has been working as HR Manager for the Schürholz Group in Środa Śląska since February 2014. We would like to thank Ms. Holowczak for the many years of valuable work she has done for the company and wish her all the best for the future!

On February 10 of this year, we received an urgent request from the DRK Blood Donation Service West to hold another blood donation at short notice. Due to an acute emergency in the supply of blood and blood products to hospitals, blood reserves are urgently needed. The willingness to donate is still declining in the area.

Today, on 19.03.2024, it was time again. Almost 60 employees from Elaflex Hiby, Gris and Schürholz agreed to donate life-saving blood. We would like to thank all donors for their willingness and the DRK for the smooth operation! We take our social responsibility seriously and are pleased to have made a small contribution for the fourth time in a row.
