We would like to congratulate our employee Stanisław Podulka on his 10th anniversary at Schürholz Group Poland. Mr. Podulka has been a valuable member of our team in Środa Śląska since September 2014. Two long-serving employees of the Schürholz Group were honored on 01.08.24 for their outstanding commitment, extensive experience and loyalty. Management, colleagues and the works council came together to thank Sabine Herrmann and Peter Hoffmann for 70 years of commitment. Both jubilarians had already completed their training at Schürholz. Sabine Herrmann has been a member of the Schürholz Group team in Plettenberg as a buyer for 25 years. Mr. Peter Hoffmann has been an important part of the Schürholz Group since 1979 and has managed the toolmaking department in Plettenberg for almost 30 years with his extensive experience. We would like to thank Mrs. Herrmann and Mr. Hoffmann for a total of 70 years of commitment to the Schürholz Group!
On 28.06.2024, we once again took part in the AOK company run, a popular running event organized by the AOK health insurance company. Over 7000 participants took part in the company run in Lüdenscheid, which was an absolute record. A total of 371 companies took part in the run in the city center of Lüdenscheid. It was a fantastic day full of sporting challenges and shared successes for everyone involved. In the beautiful weather, the colleagues #teamschuerholz mastered a distance of 6 km.

Ms. Holowczak has been working as HR Manager for the Schürholz Group in Środa Śląska since February 2014. On February 10 of this year, we received an urgent request from the DRK Blood Donation Service West to hold another blood donation at short notice. Due to an acute emergency in the supply of blood and blood products to hospitals, blood reserves are urgently needed. The willingness to donate is still declining in the area.
Today, on 19.03.2024, it was time again. Almost 60 employees from Elaflex Hiby, Gris and Schürholz agreed to donate life-saving blood. We would like to thank all donors for their willingness and the DRK for the smooth operation! We take our social responsibility seriously and are pleased to have made a small contribution for the fourth time in a row.

On International Children's Day today, 20.09.2023, a blood donation campaign took place on the Schürholz Group's premises. For the third time in a row, colleagues from Elaflex Hiby, Gris Umformtechnik and Schürholz donated blood. But it is not only in children's hospitals that there is a major shortage of blood. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 82 percent of all people worldwide need blood components at least once in their lives. We are delighted that almost 50 employees from the three companies have taken part in this campaign and will hopefully be able to save lives! We would like to thank all donors and the DRK team for this success!
We would like to congratulate our employee Patrycja Bernacka on 14 years of service at the Polish site.
Our plant in Sroda Slaska is also celebrating a small anniversary this year. Our production site was officially put into operation 15 years ago. This makes Ms. Bernacka the longest-serving employee for our company in Poland and she has played a key role in the company's growth. We would like to thank her for the good, trusting and always committed cooperation and wish her all the best for the future!
We would like to congratulate our apprentice Jan-Felix Klein on completing his apprenticeship as a tool mechanic. Jan-Felix Klein is one of 137 trainees who completed their vocational training this year with the top grade of "very good". We are very proud of his achievement and are delighted that he will continue to support us at the Schürholz Group with his specialist knowledge!
Six trainers and 10 trainees went to the annual trainee event in Cologne on September 8, 2023. First, the participants - divided into teams - were allowed to compete against each other in various exciting disciplines in the four categories "sport, tactics, knowledge and skill" at the so-called "Buddy Bash". The candidates were able to get to know each other better during the various games. After a shared lunch, everyone went to a climbing hall to recharge their batteries. Here, the focus was on mutual trust and support from team colleagues. The day ended with a delicious meal in a brewery before the group headed back to Plettenberg.
